Nautitech 46' Open 2022 Chico
Description: The Nautitech 46 Open series was launched in 2016, building on the Open concept introduced by the shipyard two years earlier on the 40. The cockpit bulkhead, which is very forward, offers a huge outdoor space, well protected by the large rigid bimini top and its shade sails. The shipyard has thus prioritized tropical living, even though the size of the 46 means that the saloon retains a lot of volume and light.
Marc Lombard has once again designed a hull that allows for good average speeds, and its very reasonable displacement makes it an excellent boat in light winds. And this boat can sail close to the wind, with tracks at 90° from one tack to the other, which is rare on a catamaran without fragile daggerboards. As for the double helm stations at the stern, they allow the skipper to keep in touch with his crew without sacrificing the pleasure of steering his boat.
This unit was launched at the end of 2022 and has always been maintained by professionals. The boat is well equipped for sailing in the Caribbean, where it regularly cruises.
